Narrative reinvention for serious transitions

Rewrite Your Story

For people between stories.

I help artists, entrepreneurs and leaders make sense of the life they are leaving — and build the one that is asking to be lived next.

This is author-led coaching for thresholds: the moments when an old identity still has momentum, but the next chapter is asking for authorship.

01 · The Threshold

For people who know something has ended.

This work begins when success, identity or direction starts to feel strangely false. The old chapter may still explain your past. It should not be allowed to run your future.

Transition

The old life still functions. It no longer fits.

You can keep performing the role. That does not mean the role is still true. We start by naming what has actually ended.

Identity

The next chapter cannot be built from an old self-image.

Most reinvention stalls because people try to change behavior while protecting the identity that created the problem.

Direction

Clarity comes from contact with reality.

Not from more thinking. Not from endless planning. From honest diagnosis, better language and visible next moves.

The work is not to invent a new persona. The work is to stop performing an old one.
02 · The Method

Read the story. Shift the identity. Build the next move.

My work brings together writing, filmmaking, coaching, entrepreneurship and change management. The process respects the emotional complexity of transition without letting complexity become an excuse.

Name the old story

Which role are you still performing, even though it no longer carries the life you want?

Locate the real rupture

Not the surface problem. The deeper break: identity, belonging, control, competence or grief.

Test the new identity

A new chapter begins through different decisions, not impressive declarations.

Give it form

Insight becomes structure: rituals, language, boundaries, work and concrete next steps.

For whom this is built

You do not need more inspiration. You need a truer read.

This work is for people who are ready to stop circling the same question and start making decisions from a clearer identity.

01

You have achieved something, but it no longer feels aligned.

The outside may still work. The inner agreement has changed.

02

You are in transition: creative, professional, personal, or existential.

Something has ended, even if the logistics have not caught up yet.

03

You want structure, honesty and movement — not more motivation.

The aim is not to feel inspired for a day. The aim is to make the next chapter livable.

What I offer

  • 1:1 coaching for professional, creative and personal reinvention
  • Strategic sparring for founders, creatives and leaders facing a next chapter
  • Story and positioning work for people reshaping their public role
  • Essays and reflections on reinvention, grief, agency, identity and becoming

What I refuse

  • Productivity theatre for people who only want to run faster
  • Endless coaching loops without decision, friction or consequence
  • Personal branding that sounds polished but feels untrue
  • The fantasy that a new life can be built without leaving anything behind
03 · The Human Context

Not theory from a safe distance.

I work with people at a threshold — artists, entrepreneurs, leaders and seekers whose previous story can no longer hold the life that wants to come next.

Threshold · Perspective · Aftermath
Author, coach, creative lead, filmmaker.

My path has moved through loss, reinvention, international shifts, creative work, entrepreneurship and the long process of outgrowing identities that once felt necessary.

That is why I do not treat change as a lifestyle concept. I am interested in the point where a person stops negotiating with what they already know.

The aim is not performance. The aim is authorship: a life, body of work and way of choosing that can carry more truth.

04 · The Writing

Essays from the in-between.

On Substack, I write about reinvention, identity, transition, agency, grief, presence and the strange intelligence of the space between old and new stories.

Reinvention

Between Stories

For people who are not lost, but standing between two versions of their life.

Identity

Identity First, Results Later

Why lasting change begins with a different self-image, not a longer to-do list.

Agency

The Loops You Don’t See

About the patterns that run a life until they are finally seen clearly.

Client sensemaking
“In one focused moment, Andy helped me see the decision underneath the decision. I stopped guessing what my work was worth, named the right price, and the project brought in more income immediately.”
— Coaching client

Ready to build the next chapter instead of only thinking about it?

I work with a small number of 1:1 clients at a time. The first step is a Reinvention Call: a clear conversation about where you are, what has ended and what the next honest move might be.
